my security light wont turn off!! since i bought my car(99 z28) like 6 months ago, the stupid security light is on. it doesnt affect anything, but it's annoying and i would like to know why it is there. any help would be awesome..thanks

Have it checked by the dealer. There is a piece in the key that works with the ign/security. You don't want trouble later because of a simple replacement key or something simple like that.
