Default New Upper Shock Mount needed

Hi,

In another thread I posted it turns out that my shock (Koni SA) was mounted incorrectly... so I need to fix that. I think it is best if I replace my upper shock mount at the same time. I have 2 questions on the upper shock mount:

1) In the attached diagram, what are part number's 51, 52 and 54?

2) Part number 53 (Upper Mount)... the price I was quoted is LH £209+ tax, RH £203+ tax = £483, which is $955 US.... where would you get these from in the US?

Thanks,
UKCamaroSS

51 is the washer that sits on top of the dust cap, 52 I dont know, never saw it on mine, 54 is the rubber isolater that sits on the top of the mount.

$955 for the top mount!!!! that is robbery, call the gestapo. It is nothing more than a piece of steel with a bearing in it. You can get them from places in the US like NAPA and the dealer and I think even the dealer in the USA is under $100 for them.

Is your ruined? If it is not broken dont replace it.

Let me know where I'd be shipping them to Gavin (England, Italy?) and the postal code.

Oh, between about $40 or so for Airmail Parcel (4-10 days) to about $55 for Global Express Mail (3-5 days).
