Talking Exciter rings on a 10 bolt

Is it possible to remove the exciter ring off my 4 channel 10 bolt axle and install it on a 3 channel axle? My right side axle has some bearing wear and I have another axle to replace it, but it does not have the ring. Any help would be appreciated.

i dont know if your axles need to be replaced, but you need to swap backing plates and i think put the rings on the 3 channel axles.

Most likely the 3 channel axle does have the ends machined for the exciter ring, I have axles at home for a 94 lt1 10 bolt and a 2002 4 channel 10 bolt, ill take a look at it.

You can actually find it out by yourself. Just remove the rings from one of your old axles and compare the axles side by side. Removing the rings is not difficult. I used a pry bar to get mine off.
