I've seen another "original KITT" car, and it was in absolutely horrible condition. Scanner was made of resistors and LEDs that were NEW in 1982. It was really, really crude by todays standards. It need a second battery just to power the thing. None of the electronics worked in the dash. This was one of the "looks good from 20 feet" dashes. If this thing is not restored, I wouldn't pay more than a $1000 for it, and I'm probably the biggest Knight Rider Nerd on this board.
