Lets hear the good ones if you got any..... I will start. Its kinda on the gross side but one that I will never forget.
I was on the USS Nassau LHA-4, For about 4 yrs, We were in the middle of a 9 1/2 month deployment when Everything started, We were in the middle of crossing the Suez Canal. I was on watch as a Throttle man, back in Aft main.
When crossing the Suez the ship was in RMD, So that means that all watch standers must stay on post at all times no matter what, for the duration of the watch, witch is usually the full extent of the canal. We had an upper and lower level BT men, and upper and lower level MM's And then also a Burnerman, Well about three hours into RMD, The one and only female that stood and worked down in aft pit as a lower level BT, had to make a head call. She came into main control instead of using the Phone and calling in witch was a big no no, to ask to be relieved so she can go, at the moment all men were accounted for so she was told to wait by the Engineer of the watch. Well she complained and whined that it could not wait. But to no avail the Engineer of the watch, Would not budge. lol.
About 45 minutes later we started smelling a really fowl oder coming from from the main vent on the exit side of the cabin, And about the time the smell started lurking into to space, a guy opened the door to come in with the funniest look on his face, Well supposibily sombody could not wait any longer on going to the head witch was one level up, and shit themselves on the way up the ladder well. Witch ended up falling out of there coveralls through the leggins, and landed on the None Skid. Well I guess she ended up going to the bathroom, and when she was done grabbed a dust pan and a fox tail and tryed to clean it up. But instead smeared it all of the none skid.
Within the time of us getting off of watch, the story was allready through out the whole ship. I felt bad for the girl, but I never laughed so hard in my life.
The things that happen when you are underway sometimes just amaze me. Lmao
