Default procharger 4 1/2" intercoolers...

well guys, the search button isn't working for me, so bare with me...

I was wondering for those of you that have upgraded from the 3 1/2" intercoolers on your procharger setup to the 4 1/2", how can you tell the difference in the them, and I dont mean performance wise, i mean look wise, how could i tell them apart. I have only have one set, the ones that are supposed to be the 4 1/2" ons, cuz i bought my kit used with them upgraded, but i'm not sure how to properly measure them to verify??

i measured the diameter of the intercoolers, and they were exactly 3 1/2" across, I am told (from seller) that this kid has the upgraded 4 1/2" intercoolers, and i have no reason not to believe the seller, so far he has been a real stand up guy good to his word, so i wanted to ask somebody about it on here, cuz it's been bugging me. I am new to the FI world and this is my first procharger kit, so I have not scene the original sized intercoolers to know the difference.

thanks in advance...

Just measure the thickness. If u measure 3.5" then thats what it is.

Yes, the thickness of the intercoolers is what makes them either the smaller 3.5" intercoolers, or the larger 4.5" ones. Bob
