My bro is a service advisor, and ex-tech, and these are some of the recalls on Ford Diesels, one of his tech posted it on the Ford mechanic's web board and it got deleted by Ford

All that aside, I think that new 6.4L twin turbo diesel is going to be a hot one.

the reason is,the new deisel engine dumps fuel into the exhaust.much like most gas engines to cool the exhaust. ford has air vents in the tips that gets oxygen there also to burn off extra emmesions.the 07s barely smell at all and put out very low emmisions... but with everything new theres a problem. select few.

Mental note: do not pull up on the passenger side of '07 deisels.
