Default Should I re-torque my head bolts? search was down

I finished my heads and cam, drove it light for a little bit and there is a very small seepage of coolant on the front of one head. Should I re-torque the arp head bolts? Sorry if this is a repost, but I can't get the search to work.

Id try torquing them down again and see of that fixes it, if it doesnt youll have to pull the heads and fix it.

Re-torque and if it doesnt stop completely, you'll have to get the heads surfaced and use new gaskets. Believe me, they arent kidding when they say torque, heat cycle, re-torque. I learned the hard way! Dont skimp, have them re-surfaced before you replace the gaskets, I learned that the hard way too!! After the third try, I re-torqued mine twice and used ICS Titan gaskets@ $200/pr!

What about a new engine with GM head bolts? Do I have to re-torque them? Like if I buy a shortblock from somewhere brand new, and brand new heads with MLS gaskets...

Those bolts dont really get torqued anyway, they get stretched. There is not really a torque value to recheck.
