Default Thoughts& opinions on ATI D1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

wondering what are the limits of a D1? this D1 was for a LT1 that pushed a blazer to 10.30s. some of you might of seen that same blazer with a F1r on it

im sure i could contact ATI for the brackets but was wondering how well would a D1 work on a 408

the lowest i could drop CR to is 10.1 but motor is fully forged. its a complete lunati 408, with claimed status of 1100hp holding ablity

right now i figure i should be in the neighborhood of low 5xx NA to wheels. what figures if this blower is possible would i see to the wheels. remember my setup would be L92s/L76 backed by a proshifted t56 and 14bolt. not worried about driveline. and i know i would have to get a different cam then the one i have now

i know the blazer with the LT1 355 made around 800 crank before with this D1

IMHO the D1 is a very good blower. The F1 however will pummel it to the ground. BUT it takes alot more effort to use a F1. With the right combo you should see 800 to the wheels pretty easy with a D1 and a 408. If you have any doubts about the D1's ability check check out our residence Procharger King Kp, 9.1's with a D1 and a 347. Why not give Bob at EPP a call to get his opinion.
