Degreeing a cam

Degreeing a cam
is it "necessary" to degree a cam. i know its recommended, i recently purchased a speed inc.TU1 (225/225 .581/.581 113lsa) cant find my cam card for the rest of the specs, not sure if theres any advance or not, thanks for the help

Its not really necessary but it is advised. You never know if something went wrong during the grinding process if you dont degree the cam. It doesnt happen often but it does happen. You should be able to either contact the company you bought the cam from or the maker of the cam and get a new cam card.
