Default Riken Raptor ZR's?

Well, I am down to these or BFG Gforce sports, but money kind of says get the Raptors. They are $35 less each, and I'm broke trying to buy a ypipe and tires....... They are well thought of by the few reviews I've found. Steeda employees ran those tires and I spoke to someone there that said they loved them and ran them at Sebring. I think that says a ton about them. The BFG's are rated near the top of the heap on TireRack and I know quite a few who love em. I don't go around slamming turns or anything, but I do like the occassional nail it and shift quick along with dragstrip time every month or so.

Thanks, I planned to remove the stupid hammer on ones as I have chrome wheels that are pristine. I think I may order them today.

I concur, they tires are very good for the price ... much better then Kumho Supra Ecsta 712s. I have no issues cayon carving around local twisties, plus with a 3000 stall and 3.73s I get 1.80 60' at a local track.

A friend of mine has them and I've seen him pull a 1.85 60' with them. They seem to handle everything pretty well except cold weather.

i only have them on the front of my formula, i just got them and i think they are pretty sweet. They ride nice, handle nice, shine up really well, nice agressive fully directional tread pattern and they are a true Z rated tire as well, I would have all 4 but when i bought the rikens i decided on mickey thompson ET streets for out back..

I had some on my 99ss. I hated them. When I would go around long corners, it seemed like the walls were flexing and then would recover unpredictably. I only had these on the rear. they just felt very loose to me. I liked my Supra 712's WAY better than the Riken's. Just my 2 cents.

I had Kumho 712's, and just putting it nicely they SUCKED. The only thing I liked about the Kumhos was the tread pattern.

I've driven a 99 GT with bolt ons and gears that did nothing but annihilate 712's. I spoke to someone at Steeda who said they loved the Rikens.

I have them in 245/45/18. I have only put a few hundred miles on them but they seem like a good tire for the price!
