Default LS1 airlid on LT1 trans am

Does anydoby have pictures of an LS1 airlid on a LT1 Trans am of firebird still using the stock non ram air hood? I would like to do this since my elbow and the rest of the stock intake piping is wrecked. Thanks for the help

cant do it with the non ram air hood unless you want to cut a hole in your hood, there isnt enough room

there was a guy on cz28 that used an ls1 lid with a stock firebird hood (non ram air). it was a red car with black grand sports.

yes i had to cut the underside of the hood and i still need to trim it a little more . i will get some more pics as soon as i get it done . im not sure if there where any gains b/c i swaped an auto into it with a small stall and did the lid all at the same time . even if there is no gains i think it looks a lot better then the elbow coming off the t/b .

I wouldnt Hack up the front of my bay like that, I tend to life my hood at car shows. I'm working on a LS1 Lid conv. now with my Sunoco....everything fits off of a 01 Z28, just cant use the Ram Air T/A support it sits up more.

so yours fits fine with the Sunoco hood? im thinking about getting that hood later on and if i can convert to an LS1 style lid with it, i just might do it.
