408 or 383 Cost vs benefit
Is a 408 for the LS1 really worth $1500 more than the 383 rotating kits? I saw these on summit. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...8&autoview=sku

Didn't find a 408 or a 402 kit from Eagle so I just went with the Lunati one. Any input would be appreciated. I'm getting close to building a new motor and need some feedback. Thanks in advance

Talk to the person thats building the motor before you just start buying parts. Sometimes they will be able to get a shortblock together using the same parts for a little less.
BTW I think that price for the 408 rotating asym. is a little out there.
