Overfull 4l60e what will it act like
i just got the car back and i think its way overfull. Not to the point where its foaming but... Any ideas what the trans will act like... It doesnt want to downshift and the car just feels like a slug

I have an autotap but havent read it yet. there are no ses lights on or anything. When i check the fluid its about 3 or so inches up on the stick above the crosshatch but no foaming..
I had it tuned a while ago and never had a problem. but i did brake the tailhousig about 800 miles ago and the dealer rebuilt the trans...

Problem solved......... Inline t-rex fuel pump must have been overfueling or holdin pressure back not alowing the car to make power.... Removed it and now im all good. Swore it was a trans problem

That happens more than you know, We help people all the time with problems they think are trans issues that turn out to be a whole array of different things. And more that a few transmissions have been replaced and rebuilt in error I have seen in the years I have been doing this.Its a good thing you took the time to work with it a bit and figure it out. Glad you got it solved.
