How much does my intake need to be milled??

Default How much does my intake need to be milled??

My block was Zero decked and the heads were milled 40-50 thousands. Anyone have a formula to get it close?

its called trail and error....u are going to have to place it on there with the intake gaskets and see how much to cut....

my machine shop says you can go upto 30 thousands with out having to deck the intake. Based on that, id go another 20 thousands on your intake imo

I took it to the machine shop and he suggested 30 thousands, so we will see...

That is true, but I think it would take more than a few thousands to make it not seal.
