What is needed for this to work? (type of springs, tune, rod bolts, length of pushrods?)

Will LS6 springs work?

Will this be a good cam for a 5.3L auto in an ext. cab silverado (5500lbs) with 4.11 gears and a 2600rpm stall?

i dont know if it will fit but i know for sure that z06 springs arent enough for that cam....comp 921's are the ones to get, i believe

honestly, i think it will be too big for your heavy vehicle (compared to a car), even with the gears and stall. how about something like a torquer 2 or TR230?

what are the specs and average hp gains on the tr230? i'm just looking for low 13's n/a, then i'll probably boost it via radix or turbo

Are you going to change the cam again when you add boost?

I suggest a smaller cam with that stall and as heavy as your truck is, it will suck down low.

That is way too much cam for a 5.3. Even the TR230 in my opinion is too big. Given the weight of the truck and the smaller displacement of the 5.3 I wouldn't exceed 224 duration. Even that may cost you some bottom end. This question would get better results in the truck forum.
