Default Caravan to PR Tuesday?

For those of us that are going to the proformance driving school on tuesday, do we want to meet up somewhere and caravan down there?

I am getting really excited for the school!

Forecast says chance of showers, so be sure you've got appropriate tires. You drive rain or shine.

I'm excited too. I'd join your caravan, except I live just down the road from the track.

I can meet up somewhere. We have to be there at 8, so I was thinking of taking 203 from Monroe down to 18 to avoid the morning rush hour traffic.....

Well?

And as much as I WANT to drive my car to the track tomorrow, I think I'm going to trailer it....just in case someone needs a ride home. Jason & I are breaking **** before we ever leave for the track.

When and where's a good place to meet up then? I was planning on leaving my house about 6:30 if I was to take 405 south. Might need to stop at a Starsucks (or equivilant) too.

Mark, how long is it going to take you to get down there from your house?

I was planning on leaving around 6am from my house hitting a starbucks then going down there. If it will be the same amount of time I may come up there and follow you. If not I might see about hooking up with Howard and taking 405.

Guys I drive 203 every freaking day and its a straight shot for you. It will take you about 45min to get from Monroe to the track and is right around 50mi. Make sure you get there about 7:30am at the latest so you can check in and listen to some racing stories. Don talked about his encounters with Dale Earnhardt including the 24hrs race because I was wearing my Dale shirt. Be sure to ask questions and make sure you wipe out one of their "children" while your out there. Your going to have a blast! I will be there at noon.

Yeah, I came out this morning after I had driven the car the day before, and lo and behold... there was a LARGE puddle of coolant under my car. So big it ran down the garage and pooled down by the garage door... I freaked.

Called Ellis, and he said not to panic (yet), might have just been a hose rather than a heater core or cracked block. So I started the car up, looked around, and it was leaking from the top area of the motor in the front.

Turned out I had a ripped throttle body hose... fortunately, Corvettes of Auburn had one of those parts in stock. So I drove the car down there, and got the hose installed.

I breathed a BIG sigh of relief at that one...

I can relate Jason. I took the TA out for some test drives over the weekend (haven't really driven it since the tranny rebuild/blower fix). Car started missing like a bastard AGAIN! I checked all the plug wires 3 times - all fine. felt the inj wires - all there. So I nursed it home to check the SES code - inj drive failure. Felt around again and inj # 8 was loose. Son-of-a-B......better than finding it at the track.

OK Ryan, I will wait for you at the shell, and we'll see you in Duval Howard.
