Who to ship car with????
I'm trying to have a car shipped from NJ TO CA, and was trying to find out who has shipped a car before, and who with. Any info on this would be great.
Thanks

Take a look at Intercity Lines. A little on the pricey side but I was very pleased when I had my car shipped to CA from CT. On an enclosed carrier it cost about $1500 (back in 2003).
Good luck.
Good luck.

When I sold my Knight Rider conversion on eBay, I used the recommend shipper named DAS. Dependable Auto Shippers. Great dealing with them. Shipped my car from Ohio to Reno, NV. 1900 miles door to door with no problems and no damage whatsoever.

There was a sponsor here for shipping. You might check there first. It will be pricey though. To have my car shipped from CA to OK it was around $900 quoted from about 6 different companies! I just decided to take a little road trip with my best bud and just drove the car home...I probably wouldn't do that though for CA to NJ!!!!

I had mine shipped by Angel's Auto Transport. It was $475 shipped to my door from Houston and I live in northeast Alabama about 20 minutes from the Georgia line, so it was a good price. Everybody else was about $100 more. Also, it only took a little over 24 hours to get my car.

From Omaha, NE to Nashville, TN was around $850 I think. Took less than 2 weeks.

+1 for DAS.
Shipped a Tahoe to Hawaii when we went over there and the Camaro when we came back.
Pretty quick all things considered and reasonable (paid about $2200 from Hawaii to Jacksonville Fl).
Just be DAMN sure to document everything on drop-off and delivery. I got hosed a little on the Tahoe.
I would STRONGLY suggest video taping the drop-off inspection start-to-finish and then take the tape with you at pick-up. Don't sign the acceptance until you are fully satisfied, using the video as leverage. I did this when I shipped my bike and it is amazing how cooperative (and careful) they get when faced with the tape!
