Default Extremely strong timing set for a 427?

Hey guys, i have a friend with fairly nasty 427(C5R/MTI topend)which makes in the area of 580+whp/565+wtq...He has been having an issue with timing chains in the past year....

He first broke a Rollmaster double, and was then instructed by MTI to go with a LS2 set that they installed. Well low and behold he broke that unit yesterday....

What chain/gearset would you reccomend for a "bulletproof", reliable timing assembly?

TIA

I agree that something else is wrong. Sounds like cam walk to me. I personally have a JP performance billet double roller from Australia, which seems to be a extremley nice piece, but I would first check the cams end play before installing another one.

sounds to me that your friend has either cam walk, or the crank sprocket is moving around (happened to my buddy broke the chain and tore up the rear of the oil pump)

Here is a little fact on the C5-R chain:

It has NEVER broken in all of racing 24 hours of Le Mans, and durability testing 26-30 hours on the dyno. If you break it, there is something wrong.
