Default Need info on carbon fiber WS6 hood

I saw a carbon fiber WS6 hood sell a few months back on here and was told that only a few (3-4) were made. Who made them? Will they be made again? Does anyone else make them? I want one? Bad? Ahhhhh?

Actually, was it even real carbon fiber or just some decorative layer on it? If it is, how much lighter is it than the stock WS6 hood?

RKSport manufactured WS6 style hoods in the past but nolonger. The hoods where fiberglass with a carbon fiber laminent bonded to the center of the hood. The difference in weight was miniscule.

i remember that guys original post and i think his is a vfn. I know for sure that it is all carbon fiber and he painted it that way to only leave part exposed. I think he saved 8 or 9 pounds. I love it i want one too but that guy also said it cost him like $1300 plus shipping

that would be awsome if some one made a hood like that. I know that they sell a cf for the regular hood...

VFN can make you a hood in carbonfiber.

I know how to fix the link. I was just saying that you might want to edit your post to make it easier for people to navigate to the pictures.
