Default What can i use to monitor IAC tables? using ls1 edit

alright, ive done hours and hours on reading trying to figure out my idle issue. since i put my cam in when i step in the clutch approaching a light i drop down to 500 rpm and near stall, then sometimes its hard to make it recover fast enough to get goin again within 4-5 seconds.

well i guess its a common problem cuz there is countless threads. and basically i have tried done lots of tuning and spent hours doing this as well, with little to no improvment.

so now im going to drill the throttle body, but i need to monitor my IAC's do get it where i want, 40-60 (so i read) what tuning monitoring software can i use do to do this.

the software i use right now is just the free program that came with ls1 edit. it doesnt have anything for IAC, or if it does its not enabled? anyone have any ideas?

LS1 scan does not monitor IAC. Autotap does I believe.

AutoTap has a variable entitled "IAC motor position" and one called "current IAC memory". Not sure if that is what you are looking for.

You can Google autotap or go to autotap.com. IIRC, the base unit is 200, but you will also need the enhanced variables, which is another 100. I recommend looking in the Parts For Sale section for a used one. It consists of a cable that plugs into your OBDII port, a small box, and a cable that plugs into your pc. They have 2 versions, a COM port and a USB port version. The enhanced variables are tied to the serial number of the box. If you get it, I recommend downloading the latest version of s/w (3.1), which they have been calling a Beta version for quite a long time. It is much more stable than 3.0, IMHO.
This is an example:https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=autotap

if i already have a usb-obdII adapter that came with my ls1 edit, is there any software preferable free or cheap, seeing how i already spent $500 on ls1 edit alone.
i have a laptop that i use to do my tuning, and i can bring it in the car with me hooked up. basically i just want something like ls1-scan but has iac tables.
