These are the springs I picked out for my cc503 setup:
Crane Cams 10308-1

Summit seems to be the cheapest place that I was able to find them from.

are these on your car yet?? work good? i see the heads need to be machined for those springs. no big deal on that part though.

no not on the car yet but the are the springs that were recommended to me to use and I've heard good things about them. It says they can be installed in most cylinder heads without machining, I've never heard of anyone having to machine their LT1 heads for these springs but I could be wrong. Another good spring is the Comp Cams 918 but they cost quite a bit more money.

heres my question.. cranes springs are 1.46 diameter and stocks are around the 1.27 range.. thats a big difference.. i mic' the pad the spring sits on and 1.46 will actually sit alittle off the pad.. if you guys are running this than tell me how your doing it without cutting the pads to fit?? not a big deal for me to mill these but just wondering.

it came with new pads to sit on..so no machining was necessary..i think the iron heads may need machining or something.if im not mistaken thats what the machine shop told me..aluminum heads were ok or something..dont quote me or hit me with any comments cause that came from the machine shop
