Default lt1 t56 question

i have a lt1 fbody with a t56 and i want to do a ls1 can i used the same trani just with a differn bell housing or do i need a ls1 t56

To use your trans you’ll need an input shaft front cover and bell housing. In my opinion I think its best to get a ls1 trans to start.

You also would need to change the input shaft as well as they differ in length.
