Can you run in the 10's?
Can you run in the 10’s?
Calling all 10-second Corvette racers!!! The Cartek Racing Pro 10.0 index class gets underway on Saturday April 14th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Here you will get a chance to race heads-up against other cars in the same area in ET and you can be competitive if you are in the 10’s
The great news is the day will be a double header day meaning two races! Gates open at 11 am for the first session (race) and 3:30 for the second. Come to either one or both!
No signup is required, just show up, pay your entry fee ($30) and race! This is an 8 car qualified field so you have to be quick enough to get in the field. It has been known to happen for a car in the 11’s to get in the field and even win an event so it could happen.
Can’t run in the 10’s…no problem, you can run in the bracket race with over 70 other Corvettes and any ET is fine.
Here are the results from the last Pro 10.0 Race http://corvettechallenge.info/2006pro10-4.php where you can read about the race and see video of the event.
You must be legal to run in the 10’s…Complete rules and Class description http://corvettechallenge.info/pro10.0rules.php

man I wish my car was going to be back together in time for this as its right up my alley. I like to run all out w/o holding anything back. I always try to beat my best time on every pass and hate to sandbag in bracket type races. I guess I'll have to wait for the next one.
