cam question
I was told if i install a cam, the computer needs to be reprogramed? Its a automatic not sure if that matters. If this is the case, is it worth it in the long run or am i opening up a can of worms i dont want to mess with.

Re: cam question
Generally w/ an auto yes. For instance, if your car couldnt keep an idle w/ the cam, you need to raise the idle. I would suggest a cam w/ a 114lsa on an automatic. You can always drill out the throttle body, but sometimes its not enough, depending on the car and cam.

Re: cam question
thanks.. i can deal with that and i can let you know the specs on the cam i am looking at. The real deal is that i have a friend that bought the cam for 480.00. He traded the car and offered me the cam (still in the box) for 75.00. I almost cant pass that up, just doing my research before i tear down the power house and find a money pit.
