Help me pick a cam!
I am thinking about getting a cam and I need your help. I have a 01 WS6 A4 vert. My mods are:
3.73
FRA
SLP 85 mm MAF
G2 Lid
Vig 2800
ET streets
SLP ory-pipe
HPP3 for shift points
I currently have run a best of 7.79 in the 1/8 with a 1.64 60' My goal is to be able to at least run mid 11's in the 1/4 with out any head work. I have a set of Hooker long tube that still need to be installed. So all that being said what would be the best cam for my car? Remember no head work!
Thanks, Larry

Re: Help me pick a cam!
I'd highly recommend the Thunder 224 cam. Get it on a 112 if you want it a little rough or if you want it less tempermental get the 114.
I run a 224-112 with a 3500 stall. Your stall is actually a 3200. My numbers NA are 368/391 and 507/505 with the TNT 100 shot. The cam loves the juice!

Re: Help me pick a cam!
same as ragtop99 said
or TR 224/114 for a little better idle and less tuning for a A4
I run comp cams 224/224 114 cam .... take a look over on LS1speed also
like ragtop99 said, ditch the HPP3 and get ls1edit now!
