LS1 stock: 6.098

I ran some 6.125 Dyer rods at one point, along with some stock bore JE pistons.

That is cool I was just tring to get the low down I think rodger at dyers was getting confussed with that new race block that takes a special off set rod I am going with a 6.25 rod, stock crank with a custom lunatti piston 3.903 bore 1.187 compression height. that should put me at about 10.75:1 compression. Thanks for the help. Rich

Default connecting rods

Does the ls1 have the same off set in the rod as a small block chevy? If not what is it? I am looking into a set of Dyers rods. P.S.J. I think you said you had a set of their rods in an old set up you had running.

You can use Small Blcok Chevy rods in a LS1 engine. The stock pistons pins in a LS1 are .945 rather than the .927, but we all switch to that size when we go to forged pistons anyways.
