Found something in my oil

Found something in my oil ok i went to change my oil and as soon as i pulled the drain bolt out i noticed a lead colored material on the tip of the bolt. i wiped the bolt off and the material just smeared into a gray stain (the color of lead). The car has had regular oil changes every since new. I don't really run the car hard. about two months ago i put QTP headers on, and i changed out the spark plugs and put NGK TR55 in it i also put antiseize on the spark plug threads. now my question is could i have put to much antiseize on the threads? also i noticed that my car has a little bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust now. The antiseize that i used was the color of lead. if the antiseize did make it's way into my engine do i need to worry about this or is it something that will work it's way out eventually through regular oil changes? also the engine runs fine, and i haven't heard any weird nosies of any kind. all thought and suggestions will be appreciated

I dont think that is Antiseize, if you put an excess amount on them they should have burned off, or crystalized on the spark plug. That would be my guess, Was is a metalic looking gue? Like did it have a sparkely look to it?

yeah it was metallic looking color, and when i pulled the drain bolt of the material was stuck to the tip kinda like lead sticks to a magnet then i wiped the tip of the bolt off using a paper towel and the material just smeared into a gray metallic color. is this somthing i need to worry about?

How many miles do you have on the motor? The antiseize is not your problem. Are sure your seeing white smoke, not blue?
If it's white your burning water, blue it's oil. I would change the oil and filter and put another 500 or 600 miles on it and then check your drain plug again.
Let me know what you see and we'll go from there.

that sounds like normal metal debris that's picked up by the magnetic plug. I'll see it on my LS1, the new 4.8 in my father's '07 Sierra, even in my 3400 V6. You've never seen this before during prior oil changes?

Forget the anti seize, you're seeing just what aNuBis said it is. If it is a small amount then stop worrying. As for the smokey exhaust, you are probably seeing normal moisture being expelled as steam that you didn't notice before because now you're worrying that the engine is failing.
I imagine you wiped the magnetic drain plug clean. Drive the car a few hundred miles and pull the plug again. If you see a good amount of the same stuff then investigate further but my guess is you wont' see anything appreciable. Tiny amounts of metal work their way to that magnet. I always have something on the plug every time I change oil on all six of my vehicles. Good luck.

good deal i'm going to drive it 500 or 600 miles and pull the plug again. if i see it anymore i believe i'll get a oil analysis done just to see what it is (curiousity). the reason i worry so much is because i just spent a ton of money in upgrades and i would hate to be saving up to fix my car before i get all the goodies on it. by the way i'm the second owner of this car. i bought it off of a 60 year old man who bought it brand new. when i purchased the vehicle it had 57K miles and completely bone stock. i feel like the guy never drove the car hard at all, but when i got ahold of it i drove it a little more aggressive. This is my thrid oil change. could it be stuff just wearing in the engine now that it's being drove a little harder? if so what could be wearing?

Well my quess is that it would not be anything aluminum wearing down, So it would or could be bearing's, lifters, Springs, anything that has carbon metal in it.
