PCM Diagnostics & Tuning - JUST a speedo recalibration

ok first let me say, this site is huge and hard to search on, i am over with the v6 community and am knowledgable over there, but my buddy just broke his 10 bolt, and we are buying a 4 channel 10 bolt w/ 3 42's. which was a 6 speed option, and he has 3 23's, his car is completely stock, and what is the simplest way to recalibrate his speedo. thanks chet

finding a local tuner to do it for you...most people & even most shops will do a simple speedo calibration for less then $100 for you.

What software ya'll using?

You did not say what car it is, but I bought a Hypertech handheld tuner on Ebay used for $125.00. I did not like the "power program" but I did use it for a long time to change my speedo setting, and fan temp. Since I changed gears a few times it was good to just have. It now collects dust after getting the car tuned....

its a 2001 firebird formula, all stock
