4.00" Bore sleeves??? Builders please respond.
Do the Darton sleeves come in 4.00" bore? I'd like to do a 4.00 x 4.00 motor with an Al block. I'm quite aware that the iron block comes with a 4.00" bore, but I'd like to do FI with this block and would rather not put any additional weight on the front of the car.
And...if I were to do that, would the price be the same as the 4.125" sleeve?
Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. I'm looking to do a TTi setup damn near identical to the Incon set. Normal street driving at 5-6psi with the engine built to handle ~12psi...maybe more <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> for track work. It sounds like the sleeves are available, my only other question would be concerning the thickness. Would a sleeve with an intended finished diameter of 4" be any thicker than the 4.125". For my app, would it even matter?

At 4.00" it would be even stronger!
Nate, how much boost/hp have you tested with?

Re: 4.00" Bore sleeves??? Builders please respond.
The Darton sleeves we order are 4.050" bore when they arrive. I would suggest checking Darton's website, or giving them a call to see if the LS1 sleeve is available in a smaller bore size. Pricing should be close to the same if they offer that size.
How much power are you planning to make? If you plan to stay N/A, and make less than 500hp, the factory sleeve can handle a .010" oversize, but that won't leave you any room for repairs later, or if you plan on running high boost, that would not be the best way to go.
