Default Nicked cam bearing

Upon removing my cam, I noticed that the front cam bearing had been nicked. Its not deep enough to catch a fingernail. I was able to get most of it out with 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper. What are the risks with this type of problem? Its going to result in lower oil pressure im guessing? Can the front cam bearing be replaced with the motor in the car is need be?

if its that small i would not worry about it i'm sure it will be fine. i've put cadillac 4.1's together that the cam bearing felt like a record because warrenty did not want to put a motor in them. and they never had any problems and they only had 8psi oil pressure to begin with <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
