Heres my dyno experience last week, the car is a 91 camaro RS with a 383 stroker with a callies crank, manley rods, JE pistons, all comp cams valve hardware, solid roller (262/272 .631 lift 114lsa) AFR 210CC CNC'd heads, SCE copper head gaskets, a victor JR intake, carb shob blow through holley 950HP carb, a Cog drive F1-R procharger, a bunch of 1-off custom fabricated crap to make the cog drive function on the street......custom fabricated tubing, FMIC, Snow methanol injection.....well alot of stuff......motor is made to rev and make power clean through 7500rpm, and we were getting ignition breakup at above 6500rpm......so we only got to 20psi (blower doesnt hit max output until 7500).....all the long block machine work and assembly was done by Golens Engine service out here in NE.

heres the results so far....

nice results even with the issues.

Did the car run 138mph with the current combo? I'm assuming it was with less power......

thanks man......ya it went 138 a week before the dyno, it was the same power but the car was out of gear at like 1,000'

its cammed and geared for 28" tires and i still had 26's on it at the time.

its usually cleaner than that.....that pic was after it was inside the shop for the better part of 2 months lol.

i love those wheels......took me a long time to find a good set of them, i just wish the rears were a little wider.

the car will never be lowered lol......its got a great working suspension, im not gonna screw with it, and also start scraping things with the exhaust......the car went 1.64 n/a with about 420rwhp with the wheels 8" off the ground haha, im not gonna start changing angles.

You're making me want to replace the F1 with an F1-R now......wonder if the A/C will still work with that one.

negatory lol.....its a cog drive, and i had to build the alternator crank pulley, brackets, and drive from scratch.......forget AC

you'll never spin the blower that fast with a serp belt.

they crank though

I'd have to worry about any shop that advocates the consumption of Busch beer. :barf:

Great numbers man. I just happen to building a 383 with 6"cola rods,JE dished pistons,Brodix Track 1 heads, etc, etc, with a 871 on top.All thats going in my 3rd gen. Should be a good comparison between a 871 and a F1-8 . Good luck with it. Mine won't be together and running for a little while yet. I don't like the look of the 871 but I got a crazy good deal on it so I couldn't pass it up

What hub are you running? the stock one? also what damper and did you double key your crank?
