Quick ? about replacing stock rocker arms
A friend of mine just found a needle bearing in his oil recently when he was changing it. It's obviously from a rocker arm. My question is this, once he finds the faulty rocker arm, can he just replace that one, or does he need to replace all 16?
Thanks in advance for any help given. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Hey UnbelievabLS1,
You didn't have to post this question for me--I just came over here to do it myself. Thanks!
Here's another question:
If I only replace one rocker arm, how do I go about torqueing the one nut down?
The service manual gives a procedure for torqueing all 16 involving putting #1 at TDC and so on. Do I need to loosen all 16 and follow the service manual procedure? Or...?
Thanks.

Re: Quick ? about replacing stock rocker arms
No just torque the one. The point of using that sequence is to make sure the lifter is on the base circle of the cam. Another way to do this is to turn the crank with a wrench until the pushrod starts to come up, then turn it one revolution. This way you know the lifter is on the base circle.
