Default quick heat wrap question...front mount turbo

If i have my exhaust piping in the engine bay heat wrapped for the turbo, and a spark plug wires touches the heat wrap, will the wrap prevent it from melting through?? or do i need to worry about **** melting...

same thing applies for some hoses...i heat wrapped the hoses and the piping touching them...will they melt??

Im asking because im finally ready to start the car again, and i dont want to melt anything...better to be safe then sorry.

You need both protection for the plug wire and as much air gap as possible between the heat source and the wire. Once the two touch, no matter what the wrap, it's bad news.

Wrap your hot pieces, and tether your wires with zip ties to route them as far away as possible.
