He's talking about the little grill/insert that fits in the scoop on the hood. I've wondered about this as well. I painted mine, but have wondered where I could find the billet ones...anyone know?

The RKSport hood grille will only work with RKSport's aftermarket SS hood - it will not work with a GM SS hood. It just looks kind of funny to me because I don't think it fills the scoop well. I do not recommend painting your stock one with chrome paint because that will not hold up, and it will eventually look like crap.

I would personally leave it alone, its a grill for a hole, it is suppose to look like a hole, not a piece of jewelry.
