Meaning no disrespect, but why not?

They're not a wrinkle wall. You will gain optimum contact path at the recommended tire pressure. The wrinkle wall slicks will act as a spring when the walls wrinkle. The tire sticks to the ground, the rim spins, the tire's inner rim will spring and transfer the motion to the outside of the tire, thus propelling the car foward.

I just have a bad time spinning tho, and I can't really buy any tires right now, so that's why I'm asking! So I guess my next ? is, should I slip the clutch comming off the line or keep dumping at 2300rpm's?

Start at the recomended pressure and do a burn out, then look closely at the black marks that you left. If they are darker in the middle, take out a couple of pounds of pressure. If they are darker on the edges add a couple of pounds. Keep doing it until the black mark is even all the way across. That will be about as good as it gets for traction on a street tire.

This is the best advice IMHO. I tend to bleed a few pounds from my street tires (from 33-35 down to 27-30) depending on air and temperature and it works, but I'm running a slug of a 60-footer!

I ran 26 psi on my Good Year RSA's a long time ago when my car was stock and I was getting 1.92 60 ft's with an M6... :drive:
