Default LQ9 vs LS1/6 PCM

If I am putting a 04 LQ9 Escalade engine into a 57 Chev and if I was fitting a LS6 manifold to the engine, which Computer would be best to fit to it?

It really wouldn't matter. They all will control it, you would need to get someone to take care of the programming to get the best result.

I was thinking that I'll go with a LS1 Throttle body and cable but if the LQ9 PCM can control the LS1 injectors, it may be simpler to stick with the electronic throttle. I will need the accelerator pedal set up, I know someone who has one, so I guess it's easier than setting up a new throttle cable etc.

theres also the tac module that you need that goes between the pedal and harness if you decide to use the elect gas pedal. i also believe the plug to the coil pack harness is different between the lq and ls engines

..... and quite possibly the injector connectors if you use the LS6 injectors. Will the truck injectors swap into the LS6 manifold?

if you plan on using the ls6 manifold, go with a car style fuel rail and car style injectors. (part no MSD-2400) through summit.
