Default Smogging my Camaro

Alright I have to smog my camaro before the end of this month and I was going to take it today. Problem is I just put the slp lid on it and don't know if they are going to **** with me about it. Are these lids carb legar and does anyone know if I'm going to get fucked with or if they'll even notice?
thanks

they shouldnt even sweat you over it, but if you're that paranoid it only takes 5 minutes to put the stock lid on.

If they are a legit smog shop, as in they know what they are doing, they will fail you if the lid does not have a CARB sticker. The shop I took my car to said this, however, they thought my LGM lid was stock and I passed anyways

I passed smog twice with my SLP lid. They didn't say anything. The only thing that might give it away is if you have the "SLP" logo on it.
But to be on the safe side just take 5 min. and put the hold intake back on.

I already got it smogged with the lid because I didn't feel like disconnecting it from the maf cuz its a bitch and I passed anyway. I was talking to the guy while he was doing it and he was pretty cool. I don't think that he even noticed it. Its one of the new slp lid and its stamped with a white SLP logo. Doesn't rub on my hood either. Thanks guys

Damn I didn't know something as small as that could fail you. Hopefully they don't care when I have to get mine checked later this year, cause my original lid was broken and is why I replaced it in the first place.

your car is not allowed to have any modifications to its intake or exhaust system unless the parts are C.A.R.B. approved and theres a sticker or stamp on it. it also must have all original emmissions pieces in their stock locations (ie cats cannot be moved). beyond that, it must pass all sniffer tests.

a smog only place will care more than a mechanic that can do smog checks.
