Yeah...I just googled it. You're right. It's a stock GT with a CAI kit and some appearance mods.

its not a stock air box...its a wierd cai and tune like unit said. the gt had a decent launch, surprised he only ran a 13.7...seems like he should be .5 quicker than that.

My Mustang has a stock gt air box,and the Gto ran a 13.50.if you look a little closer. My car has no tune it's stock. As a matter of fact the Gto had a cai.My Stang is an a-5 if it was manual .5 faster or better.

It means nothing to me if it comes with a CAI kit or not. This is
what google shows. I thought I saw an engine bay pic with a CAI
kit on it in stock trim. Maybe I'm wrong. Doesn't really matter.

The GT/CS ( 54C ) package will include:
  • Larger Air Intake
  • Custom Intake Engine Cover w/pony emblem
  • Integrated Chin Spoiler
  • 1.5-inch lower ride height than Mustang GT
  • Hood Scoop
  • Side Scoops
  • GT/CS Decals along the front fender and door
  • Diffuser Rear Wing
  • California Special Floor Mats
  • Bright rolled dual exhaust tips
  • 18-inch polished aluminum 5-spoke wheels (64W)

i saw a carol shelby mustang here in college station on the showroom floor roped off and it had a open lid airbox with a tune. it was white and i coulda sworn it was a california special. has a shitty little cutout of the black plastic behind the different grille that they put on there, and its got some different ground effects and interior stuff.

in any case, looks like you did a decent job launching and that gto needs the driver mod!

Thank you and yes the Gto needed a driver mod. I guess it's harder to launch an I.R.S. car.[QUOTE=LS1Aggie09]i saw a carol shelby mustang here in college station on the showroom floor roped off and it had a open lid airbox with a tune. it was white and i coulda sworn it was a california special. has a shitty little cutout of the black plastic behind the different grille that they put on there, and its got some different ground effects and interior stuff.
