First time for me this year. Registering this weekend. What time does everyone leave in the morning? Where does everyone meet up at the end of each day? What sort of order is there to everyones pace, progress, checkin/checkout, etc?

I can hardly wait for the information about the tour! Have you guys heard any rumors? I am thinking of stopping by Speed Inc if it isn't to far out of the way on Monday. I need to have a turbo conversation with them

You get two passes per car entered for the tour. Check out the HRPT forums at http://forums.hotrod.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=0&Board=powertour&page=0
for lots of info on the tour and other unofficial activities ;)

Thanks I plan on registering soon. I just need to get my car back together. I have the whole front end off it putting on a BMR K member, upper and lowers QA1's rear lowers and rear shocks. Oh ya headers and poly motor and trans mounts. Along with a new clutch. lol Alot of work to do in the next couple of weeks. I plan on haveing it on the road the 18th so I can have a couple of weeks driving time before I leave.

What the hell, the tour is less than a month away and they haven't sent anything as far as registration material... Charged me for the registration right away though...

Don't believe you get much in the mail from what I've heard, just the route(link above) and confirmation of registration - some have not gotten it before leaving for the tour
you get the important stuff when you register at the tour

Well that sucks I guess. Sounds like the day of the start is probably chaos...
how do they organize everyone so they don't have 2,000 cars leaving at the same time, causing a massive traffic jam everywhere we go???

No, going through Chicago is going to be downright ugly but at least we'll be able to admire each other's cars while we're sitting in traffic on the Dan Ryan...
Got my registration confirmation in the mail today only to realize that I booked my hotel in Kzoo for Sat night and not Sunday... DOH!!!!

i went ahead and got an i-pass transponder from the illinois tollway......on the hotrod board some guys were talking about going a long route around chicago on some less traveled roads, but the locals said that the alternative routes would be even worse...

Less than a week now. I am in full on clean mode. I hope for good weather to make my 20+hrs worth of detailing isn't a waste.

For anyone who's in town Friday night, there will be a Power Tour kickoff party at Tony K's bar and grill on West Bagley rd. in Berea. I live in the area and the following are located on Bagley rd. within a mile: Mallet Motorsports, Corsa exhaust, Flaming River, and a Camaro resto shop, it's also really close to the IX center for Saturday. Should be a pretty good turnout if anyone lives around Cleveland or gets in early Friday night.
