Default Trans mount

Looking for one a little shorter for a 4l60e. Everything I've found is 1.9" or so. Any ideas or do I just lower the mount down a liitle with shims? Thanks,

Jimmy

I shimmed mine with some i machined out of aluminum. Makes it alot easier than modding a xmember to make it taller.

Went out there today and shimming it down is not a possibility. I have a TCI 4 link that came with subframe connectors and the x member sits on top of the sfc's. Shimming it down is not an option, I have searched all over the web for thinner trans mounts and only find 1.9" tall so far. I need to be around an 1- 1 1/4 if possible. Any help would be great.

Will there be a problem with a solid mount? I have never seen someone solid mount a trans they have always had some sort of bushing. Thanks,
