Default clear coat on stock aluminum rims?

do we have a clear coat on our stock aluminum wheels? (98t/a) reason is because i bought this wax for aluminum wheels and when i got home i read the back and it stated 'not recommended for clear coat on rims'... thanks...

i wouldn't even attempt it knowing that it has the possibilty of messing it up, be safe and buy something else

idk if they come with a clear coat....my american racing wheels i had on my ram did....took the clear off with very fine sandpaper very softly rubbing it....took a looooooong time but came out great....did have some light scratches though....idk how else to take the clear off
