Default thinking bout a cam

i really need to give my car a little more power im thinking about a cam but i really need some advice cuz my car has 113k miles it has no engine problems and runs strong. i dont want sometinh to big because im afraid of blowing it any advice on what size and what brand and what other work i have to do for the cam

well fot one you didn't post if it was a manual or automatic. secondly there are PLENTY of beginners threads that go into detail about the info your looking for. Search for "So you Wanna go Fast". search search search, that is the best way to learn. And a TR224/224 cam is a great DD cam for a great power gain

Your name title says z28, so I assume you have a LS1. Why not post in the ls1 internal section?

I have a high milage motor with a huuge cam. Ive heard of plenty of low milage motors failing with a cam or H/C

How well was the motor upkept?
