Default Good nitrous rings?

Ok, plan on doing a stock bottom end rebuild this summer with a cam and wanna continue to spray a 125 shot on it. This is just a cheap rebuild while I save for the forged 383 with a D1 I wanna get later on down the road. Just wondering if this is a good set of nitrous rings or if someone has some better rings for a stock piston.

i used a set of oem type mahle rings. they will all need to be filed if your looking to hit it with nitrous. actually, for a 125 shot you may not need to file them at all.

Agree with vtec: This is the perfect ring for a stock piston......that's what I think you are doing for your rebuild right, (A stock rebuild and re-using the stock pistons)?

Note that the rings you link to are not the right size for a stock piston.

The Mahle stock OEM replacement ring package (plasma-moly top ring) is part number 2M4626-STD
link to photo of rings---and Mahle OEM bearings.

That is also the Hastings part number which is another good ring set.

The Mahle ring set can take a ton of abuse and at least a 150hp shot of nitrous.

I personally have the 4032 alloy of SRP pistons which JE says is "specifically engineered for mild nitrous use." However mild nitrous is not defined. So let's say for example we've got rings for a 300 shot. What's the limit on the different alloys?
