Default getting started with my swap

So here i go.
1979 Chevy 1/2 ton 4X4
swapped in all one ton running gear
-dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear with disc brakes installed
-400/205 tranny/t-case
installing 2003 LQ4 6.0/4L80e with 90K
planning on mating the 80e to the t-case
already bought motor mounts, edelbrock headers, crane cam and valvesprings, and sending harness and pcm off to wait4me this week. pulled the motor and tranny last weekend and will get started this week.
this truck will be used as a daily driver and overall tow rig to pull the toys around. I am sure i will have plenty of questions in the future so all advice is very very appreciated. I am new at this so please dont bust my chops too bad.

Question one. I heard there is a certain fuel pump that you can install in a factory tbi sending unit that replaces the factory pump. I have a 30 gallon tank and sending unit out of a suburban with tbi.

yeah the fuel pump your talking about is the late model vortec fuel pump from 96-98. I am on here every once in a while and have already done this swap in a 91 k5 blazer so feel free to ask away. you have a really clean truck btw.
