Default problem with new LS2 engine

I just had an 403 CID LS2 installed in my 2002 camaro Z-28
every thing came from Texas Speed and I am getting a cAM shaft position sensor MIL light
does anyone have an Idea of what to do about this
or does anyone have a wireing diagram of the extension harness

Any imput would be great
I have left a message with Texas Speed

on another note my Speedometer does not work now
it is getting the signal to the plug in port because it is displayed on HPTuners and on my E-Boost controller but not on the stock tach

what gives

oh and Texas Speed I would love for you to prove me wrong

Did you use an adaptor for the cam position sensor to go from your wiring harness to the LS2? If so I have seen people get adaptors that were wired wrong and cause the mil. Check it out.

I had the same issue with the cam code. If you are using the cam position extension harness you need to swap the 2 end wires. Leave the middle wire alone and swap just the 2 end wires on one side. Should be fine.

How was the Auto fair Darren? Sorry I never got to get back with you about being a part of the show. Car was not 100% ready at the time you asked me.

I've had to swap the outer 2 wires on about half of my installs using the extension harness. You would need a small paper clip or a GM terminal release tool.

Darren, I did try to call you back friday when I got your message. Not only that, I tried to call Tick Performance as well since they bought the parts and assembled the motor if I'm not mistaking. You could have also shot me a PM for a quick fix as mentioned in my signature.

If you are getting a code you need to switch the outside wires on the harness. That will fix the problem. I don't know whats up with the negative thoughts. Kinda seem unwarranted but I could be wrong...:/

We did not sell you this engine! We sold the parts to TICK Performance, and they did all of the machine work and assembly. We're more than willing to help you out, but a little courtesy goes a long way. We spoke with Jonathan at TICK Performance this morning regarding the situation, and he knows how to fix it. It's in the Katech harness. He said it was a time constraint for them in trying to get ready for a show in Charlotte this past weekend.

We're always willing to help anyone out, but starting off by slamming us is completely uncalled for. If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to give us a call and ask for Trevor or myself.

Hey Darren, if you'll bring it back up here I'd be glad to switch the wires around for you. I know the harness was cut on the cover, but after finding out the problem with the extension harnesses I'm sure that will take care of the problem. If you can't get back up here this week, we could probably fix it at the dyno day Saturday.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Jason I am not slaming you guys at all
I think it is hard to get ahold of you on the phone and I could not get to a computer till saturday

I will swap the wires this afternoon when I get home

I should of been clearer on my first post
I think that you guys have been great to work with and would reccomend you to anyone
you are correct that all the work was done at Tick
when I made the origonal post i was suffering from a severe lack of sleep

I understand that you are very busy and that you do not have time to respond to everything in just a few minutes
I guess that I should be more careful how I word stuff when it gets posted up

Thanks Darren P

Jon

I don't know why I did not get your call on friday but Tick was closed
they were up till 6 AM from the night before putting the engine in the car
once again guys I do not have a problem with Texas Speed at all
the only reason I even said the name was because I did not know who made the wire harness
