Default 3600 stall to big

Is a yank ss3600 stall to big for my street car. going from mods in sig with AI 200cc heads and cam package. Should i go with a ss3200 I want so highway speed but I dont really know much about stalls I plan to rev to about 65-6800 so will the custom cam fix the problem of the stall eating up power at highspeeds

All I can say is do it right the first time. Put in something around 4k.

Look at what the fast cars (LS1 and LT1) are running. Many of them are 4K to 4200.

You could also call up Ron and Phil, they can help pick a stall for your combo.

3600 is a nice street/strip stall IMO.

This is one area where research will save you money and help you at the track/street, etc...For a street/strip car you want the converter to stall 500-700, (some as much as 900) rpm below the torque peak of the motor...If you can't dyno your car find someone with a similar combo who did and go from there...Also, make sure you contact whatever company you want to go with and give them the specs on your combo...

To answer your question, 3600 is not too much for the street/DD, etc..I've run my Vig 3600 since 1996 and its great for the street, track, etc...
