Default Going to E Town on Wednesday 4/18...

As long as the weather holds out I should be there when the gates open. Anyone else thinking of running the test & tune? If you see me, come say hi. I'll be in this clunker.

Will do. What did you do about your broken rear? Did you get that 12 bolt or did you replace it with a stocker?

Best run was as follows;
R/T .081
60' 1.62
330' 4.92
1/8 7.739
MPH 87.40
1000 10.16
1/4 12.20
MPH 110.37

My MPH is down, I'm going to try replacing the valve springs. The car turned 145,000 miles on the Jersey Turnpike today and the valve springs are the origionals. Yeesh.

The1-2 shift is happening a little early (5,500 RPM) so I want to get that fixed too. I still had the jack, spare tire, floor mats and rear seats in the car. The barometer was at 29.91. I think I ran pretty well tonight all things considered. I was hoping for that elusive 11.999999 but it wasn't meant to be tonight.

To top it all off, I got a nice speeding ticket as I was leaving the track. I left early (8~ish) to be sure that I beat the rain coming home since I was driving on Hoosier QTPs. I pulled out of the gate and made the right to get on 527 and I'm driving along not taking notice to the 25mph signs that were posted and drove right past an unmarked crown vic doing 51mph. Wouldn't you know that the guy wrote me for the full amount along with a mandatory court date. I think I can get it squashed, but still. I hate getting tickets. I always thought it was a 45mph zone there.

This was sort of a shake down to see how the car reacted with all the new parts. I need to dial in the suspension, change the plugs, wires and valve springs and get a little weight out. I'll get there this season.
