Default elictric water pump

i am interested in buy one but not sure if i need to cover the hole in the timing cover so that it wont leek oil every wear.

Yes you do. If you can find a freeze plug the right size then that should work. I used two washers, a bolt, nut, lock washer and some RTV. I had to grind it down some on the inside as well.

AutoZone has the freeze plug that will fit. I Matched it up with the one that comes with the pump before i installed it into the back of the pump itself. Get out the dremel, most require 3 notches to be made in the front of the housing. Take about 20mins to install the pump and bout 2 hours total if you had to run to the parts store like me!
