Which is a better tire for autocross? Kuhmo V710s or BFGoodrich g-Force R1s? A lot of guys I autox with run the V710s but I've always been a BFGoodrich guy, but I've never ran with comp tires or even bought a set. Thanks for the help in advance.

The R1s are almost too new for anyone to have a real opinion on them yet. IF they pick up way ahead of where they left off with the long "out of print" R1s of yesteryear, BFG will have some serious road race/autocross rubber on their hands! :)

I thought they were new, just figured I'd ask. I might just pick them up to test them out. Not a big fan of Kuhmos but people talk about the V710s as if they were a gift from god...kind of like the LS1 is.

710s are probably the best race tire for our cars. they really are a gift from god....more or less. only problem is theyre expensive, and dont last long. theyre stickiest because theyre softest, hence wont last as long as some others with hard use. i just bought a set of 710s for autox, and hopefully a track day or two. yes, theyre like glue when its warm and they have heat in them. but, had i more time and if other companies made tires in the size i needed, i would have gotten something cheaper and longer lasting, since ill only be using them maybe 10 times a year. i picked up a set of 16in rims for race tires, and there are far less slicks available for 16 then 17s, so i was stuck with the 710s.
Don't forget about Hoosiers as well. They make a great AutoX tire.
